Following an initial public offering of its shares,  Eastern Mediterranean Resources commenced trading on AIM (Code: "EMED") on 9 May 2005. 

Shareholders approved the change of Company name from Eastern Mediterranean Resources Public Limited to EMED Mining Public Limited on 20 September 2006.
