Roger Davey, ACSM, MSc, C.Eng, Eur.Ing., MIMMM
Independent Non-Executive Chair of the Board

Mr. Davey has over thirty years' experience in the mining industry. Previous employment included Assistant Director and Senior Mining Engineer at NM Rothschild and Sons; Director, Vice-President and General Manager of AngloGold's subsidiaries in Argentina; Operations Director of Greenwich Resources Plc, London; Production Manager for Blue Circle Industries in Chile; and various production roles from graduate trainee to mine manager, in Gold Fields of South Africa (1971 to 1978). Mr. Davey is a director of Orosur Mining Inc. Alexander Mining Plc, Condor Gold Plc and Master Drilling Group Limited. Mr Davey is a graduate of the Camborne School of Mines, England (1970), with a Master of Science degree in Mineral Production Management from Imperial College, London University, (1979) and a Master of Science degree from Bournemouth University (1994). He is a Chartered Engineer (C.Eng.), a European Engineer (Eur. Ing.) and a Member of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining (MIMMM).

Alberto Lavandeira Adán,
Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Lavandeira brings to EMED Mining over 36 years' experience operating and developing mining projects. He is a graduate of the University of Oviedo, Spain with a degree in Mining Engineering. As a Director of Samref Overseas S.A from 2007 to early 2014, he represented the interests of one of the shareholders in the JV that developed the world-class Mutanda Copper-Cobalt Mine in the Democratic Republic of Congo. From 1995 to 2007, he worked for Rio Narcea Gold Mines starting as COO and later as President and CEO and Director. During this period, RNG built three mining projects from exploration stages to production. Prior to that, Mr Lavandeira worked in different positions within Spanish mining subsidiaries of Rio Tinto, Anglo American and Cominco.

Damon Barber
Non-Executive Director

Damon Barber is the Senior Managing Director of Liberty Metals & Mining and has more than 23 years of experience in natural resources finance and operations. Prior to joining Liberty Metals & Mining, Mr. Barber held several senior positions with mining companies and served as the Head of Deutsche Bank's Metals and Mining investment banking practice in Asia-Pacific.  Mr Barber also spent more than 11 years at Credit Suisse, primarily as an investment banker in Credit Suisse's Energy Group. Mr. Barber graduated from the University of Kentucky with a B.S. in Mining Engineering and began his career as a section foreman at CONSOL Energy Inc.'s Loveridge Mine. Mr Barber holds an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Hussein Barma
Independent Non-Executive Director

Hussein Barma has significant FTSE senior executive experience, having spent 15 years at Antofagasta plc between 1998 and 2014 where he held the position of Chief Financial Officer (UK). He has a deep knowledge of the global mining industry as well as governance practices at board level, accounting and reporting, investor relations, financing, strategy and the regulatory requirements of the London market. He previously worked as an auditor at Price Waterhouse (now PwC). He is currently Principal of Barma Advisory, where he has worked with clients across a range of sectors. He is a steering group member of the UK Financial Reporting Council’s Financial Reporting Lab. He is a chartered accountant (ICAEW) and a barrister (Middle Temple), and has a doctorate in corporate law from the University of Oxford.

Jonathan Lamb
Non-Executive Director

Jonathan Lamb is an Investment Manager at Orion Mine Finance. Prior to Orion, Mr. Lamb was an Investment Manager for the Red Kite Group’s Mine Finance business. Before joining Red Kite in 2012, Mr. Lamb worked in Deutsche Bank’s Metals & Mining Investment Banking group in New York, where he worked on a variety of debt and equity financing as well as M&A transactions for clients across the base metals, precious metals, coal and steel sectors. Mr. Lamb graduated from the College of William and Mary with a BA in Finance and Government.

Harry Liu, BSc. Economics
Non-Executive Director

Harry Liu is a Vice President Yanggu Xiangguang Copper Co. Ltd ('XGC'), one of the world's largest copper smelting, refining and processing groups located in China''s Shandong province. XGC is a significant shareholder in EMED Mining. Mr. Liu has held a number of senior management and marketing positions in the mineral and financial industries in Shanghai and Hong Kong, including roles as Marketing Manager at BHP Billiton Marketing AG and Director at BNP Paribas Asia. Mr. Liu graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Zhejiang University in Zhejiang Province, China. Mr. Liu has no other directorships.

Jesus Fernandez Lopez, MSc. Finance and Investment
Non-Executive Director

Mr Fernandez is Principal at Galena Asset Management S.A and is the head of the M&A team for the Trafigura Group. He joined the Trafigura Group in June 2004 and has 15 years of experience in mining investments and financing. Mr. Fernandez is currently a director of Cadillac Ventures Inc. and Mawson West Limited. He was previously a director of Tiger Resources Limited, Anvil Mining Limited and Iberian Minerals Corp. plc. Mr. Fernandez has a Master of Science degree (Finance and Investment) from the University of Exeter and a Licenciatura (Economics degree) from the Universidad de Cantabria, Spain.

Jose Nicolas Sierra Lopez, PhD, D.I.C., MBA
Independent Non-Executive Director

Dr. Sierra brings to the Company extensive experience as a mining and energy leader in the business and government sectors. His experience includes being Spain&'s national Director General of Mines and Construction Industries and EU Director for Fossil Fuels for the European Commission. Most recently he was Commissioner at the National Energy Commission of Spain and Deputy Independent Member of the SEMC (Single Electricity Market Committee of the Island of Ireland). He is member of the Board of TIGF (Transport et Infrastructures Gaz France). Dr. Sierra holds a PhD in Mining Engineering from the University of Madrid and is an elected member of the Royal Academy of Doctors of Spain.

Stephen Scott
Independent Non-Executive Director

Stephen Scott has more than 25 years’ global mining industry experience. He is currently President and CEO of Minenet Advisors, a capital markets and management advisory consultancy providing advice to clients on corporate development, project management, strategy and business restructuring. Between 2000 and 2014 he held several executive positions with Rio Tinto PLC including General Manager Commercial for Rio Tinto Copper (2005 to 2014), and President Director of Rio Tinto Indonesia (2002 to 2005). He is currently a director of Reservoir Minerals Inc., Rathdowney Resources Ltd and Shore Gold Inc.
